4 to 6 Weeks before Moving:
Arrange for mail forwarding with Canada Post to ensure uninterrupted communication.
2 to 3 Weeks before Moving:
Procure necessary moving supplies and boxes to organize belongings efficiently.
Coordinate phone service setup at your new residence.
Donate unwanted items to charity or dispose of them responsibly.
Safely discard household chemicals at designated centers.
Arrange for the return of cable TV equipment.
Complete change of address forms for vital services, including driver's license, health cards, and insurance policies.
If Necessary:
Make travel arrangements and transfer car insurance and license plates.
Inform your children's schools and request record transfers.
Obtain medical, dental, and veterinary records as needed.
8 to 14 Days before Moving:
Return any borrowed items to their owners.
Coordinate utility connections at your new home.
Retrieve any loaned items from friends or neighbors.
Arrange for utility disconnection at your current residence.
Schedule the relocation of major appliances if required.
Dispose of flammable materials safely.
2 to 7 Days before Moving:
Determine what belongings you'll transport personally and pack them accordingly.
Prepare a suitcase with essential clothing and toiletries for immediate use.
Organize "installed items" for transfer and pack a designated box with essentials labeled "Do Not Move".
The Day before Moving:
Dismantle curtains and curtain rods.
Pack personal belongings, excluding essentials for the first day at your new home.

Moving Day:

Disassemble beds and conduct a final inspection of the premises.

After Moving:
